First opening its doors in 1974, Broughs Butchers is a well-established local butchers operating in 5 locations across the coast of Merseyside.

Chord's Challenge

Classed as an essential business in the early Coronavirus lockdown in March 2020, Broughs remained open and continued to produce top quality meat for its customers. However, they needed to adjust their way of commerce in line with regulations, risk assessments, public perception and safety. Chord were tasked in creating solutions to display the correct information, direct customers in a safe and considerate manner and keep the all-important staff safe.

Final Result

Chord Print developed it's one-stop Covid safety shop almost overnight and began rolling it out to retail, education, leisure and workplaces both during and post the restrictions. The first of which was Broughs Butchers; Ainsdale, Birkdale and Formby. The range continued to evolve and constantly update with customer feedback and alterations to the government restrictions.
